Who's Who & How it WorksThe Crestone/Baca Land Trust is a non-profit Colorado corporation, that has recently been granted recognition by the IRS as a tax exempt publicly supported 501 (c) (3) organization. Decision-making is in the hands of a board of directors, who, like the officers, are all volunteers. Area residents, landowners, homeowners and all who care about preserving this special land and its natural environment are welcome to attend meetings, offer their input and participate in a variety of ways. Normally, meetings are on the 3rd Saturday of the month. We are proud of our extremely low overhead which means that most of the money we raise is spent directly on our conservation projects.
