Numerous Crestone-area artists have donated their works for auction at Land Trust fundraisers over the last few years. We currently have a small inventory of unsold photos and artwork that we plan to offer, on this web site, as "premiums," so to speak, for supporting the Land Trust. We plan to solicit more art from the local creative community for this new "online auction."
Each item will have a listed minimum price, and you can acquire that work of art for that listed price. But we encourage anyone who can to increase their donation, above this listed minimum "bid." Rest assured, the money will be well spent.
We will photograph and present more items for sale on this page soon, but we are starting our "online auction" with two photographs by Linde Waidhofer, a nationally recognized landscape photographer who has supported Land Trust work with donations of her fine prints.
1. The photo of a herd of Antelope in the Spanish Meadow area, shown at the top of this page, is available for a minimum donation of $35. This is an archival pigment print on heavy paper, the photo is 8 by 12 inches on 12 by 16 inch paper.
2. The following panorama print of the Spanish Meadow Pond, preserved by Land Trust efforts. This is a 17 inch wide photo on 13 by 19 inch paper, and is also available for a minimum donation of $35. |
